About the Author

Dr. Asmat Kamal Ansari was born in Karachi in 1956 and graduated from LMC Jamshoro in 1982. He obtained his master’s degree, M.Phil, from BMSI, JPMC, Karachi. In February 2000, he was appointed as a professor. Despite passing FCPS part- I and completing three years of clinical training in medicine, his passion for Physiology led him to return to the Physiology department, leaving the clinical side. Throughout his career, he has worked at various institutions including LMC Jamshoro, CMC Larkana, PMC Nawabshah, Mohammad Medical College Mirpurkhas, Isra University Hyderabad, RMI Peshawar, and Dewan Medical College Karachi. Currently, he serves as a professor and the head of the Department of Physiology at Bilawal Medical College at LUMHS, Jamshoro.
